A Note From Amy

Published on February 13th, 2010

I heard a story recently about a family of four. Mom, Dad, Son and Daughter. Each night at dinner, Dad asked the kids what they had failed at that day. Every night it was the same question. There would actually be disappointment from the parents if the kids had NOT failed at something that day. As I read the story, I was overcome with a sense of relief. No fear of failing? Imagine how much freedom that could provide.

I work with women every day who are so afraid of failing, making a mistake, and not being good enough that they don’t allow themselves the necessary failures to actually be successful. And here, these kids will NEVER have to deal with that. All because of a seemingly insignificant question asked by their father at the dinner table.

Many of us spend a lot of time waiting for our lives to happen. Waiting for the perfect time to do what we have always wanted to do. The truth is, there will never be a perfect time. There’s no such thing.

So, ask yourself what you are waiting for. If you want a career you are passionate about, go get it. Put a plan together and DO something about it.

Some of us don’t know how. Some of us are afraid. As a female entrepreneur, with each day comes a whole new set of unanswered questions and fears. It’s part of the process…it’s part of life. So, Whatever your reason, give it up! Start creating the life that you want for yourself, right now.

My Commitment

Being an entrepreneur is not easy and can be extremely frustrating when you don’t have the information, resources or guidance you need. From establishing the right mentors and mindset to learning about branding, product development, marketing, sales, pr, and finance to staying healthy and making time for your relationships – it can all seem overwhelming when you don’t have the answers.

So, whether you’re just starting out or are moving to the next level, I will do everything I can to coach you through the process of becoming a successful, female entrepreneur so that you can achieve the happiness and freedom you deserve.

My Philosophy

When you start a business, you are entering into a relationship. You and your business are married. You are essentially sleeping together! And, like in marriage, you both require love, commitment, communication and support. So, you’ve got to find out what your business needs. If you want your business to provide you with money and success, you must continuously communicate with, lead and support your business. You must provide your business with what it needs to give you the money and success you want. It’s an exchange. Your entire business will shift the moment you start to treat it like a partner in a relationship. This is the first HUGE mental shift you must make in order to Release Your Inner Millionairess and become a successful entrepreneur.
